FAB ACADEMY was an ambition of Nas Bashir throughout his professional time in the professional game. Nas recognises that young players do not reach their true potential all at the same time and in his experience it comes at different stages in their teenage years. He has coached players coming into a professional environment late which then gave them the opportunities that other talented boys were not given.

Nas believes if you create the right coaching environment, players will learn and develop quicker. Nas wanted to give above average ability football players the same opportunities as boys that had been handpicked at professional clubs. These boys need professional coaching by qualified FA coaches that have experience in developing young players.

To gain a place at FAB you will need to have been invited by one of the coaching staff or scouted by our talent id team or attend one of our one day clinic courses which are held at Bisham Abbey during the school holidays. The age group of the players we develop are between 6 years and 18 years of age, scholarship opportunities are also available when leaving year eleven at school.

FAB ACADEMY offers boys a professional learning environment for all the players. All the coaching staff are level 2, 3, 4 qualified and have years of experience coaching and developing young players.

FAB ACADEMY also offers expertise goal keeping coaching to improve the individual goal keeper. These sessions run alongside the outfield sessions to allow the goalkeeper to take part in the group team play sessions.

The coaches at FAB ACADEMY run through a coaching syllabus that encourages the players to experience different coaching topics within the ten week course. The coaching staff are encouraged to express themselves and build a relationship with the players to help them improve their all-round game. The coaches give verbal feedback on a weekly basis and at the end of a ten week course the players receive a written assessment of their time at FAB.

FAB ACADEMY runs the sessions at the fantastic facilities at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre. These facilities are used by the national teams and have many professional and top sports performers utilising them. Bisham abbey gives FAB ACADEMY the professional profile and environment to help develop the players.

The players that are invited to FAB ACADEMY are expected to adhere to wearing FAB training tops supplied by us with matching socks and shorts. This creates a feel good factor for the players involved at FAB.
